Lamasco Bar and Grill and Big Ninja Family Productions present "Bluegrass and Blues in the 'Burgh".

In honor of Earth Day and Angel Mounds State Historic Site, part of the proceeds for this event go to "Friends of Angel Mounds". This event includes two days of national, regional, and local live music, worthy Evansville area non profits, FREE camping, a special family camping area, Saturday morning brunch provided by Lamasco Bar and Grill, food and art vendors, amazing artists and life size art installations; and, a special children's zone just for the kids. ALL included in the price of your ticket! Children 12 and under are free! The Saturday Morning Brunch at 10 am will be accompanied by some beautiful bluegrass music.

Ticket prices are $60.00 for adults and $40.00 for students. (Students MUST BE prepared to show their ID with discounted tickets or prepare to pay the $20.00 difference.) Saturday arrival tickets are $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for students (Same rules apply for Saturday students tickets as well)

We will also be offering a LIMITED 20 VIP tickets for $150 for the weekend, that will include both backstage passes, and admittance to the musicians hospitality tent for the weekend, where food and beverages will catered by Lamasco Bar and Grill.

There will be a BACKYARD BBQ competition on Saturday April 21. Remember this will be for amateurs only! We will have a prime location for you to set up your grill. You will be allowed gas grills, smokers and charcoal grills. Bring your best BBQ recipe, along with enough food for the crowd to "sample". There is NO ENTRY FEE, but you must provide enough samples of what you are preparing for the crowd to judge. So make sure you are prepared! The contest will take place at 5 pm on Saturday, April 21. On the day before, Friday, April 20, you will be allowed to set up as early as 3:30 pm. Judging will take place the nest day, Saturday, April 21 at 5pm. We will have 3 categorizes - (Ribs, Chicken and Butts). Prize winners will be judged "Best Of" in each category, and then ONE "In the 'Burgh" overall Champ will be chosen. It's as simple as that folks! Prizes to WILL announced soon!

We are still looking for a few more green business vendors, art vendors,and non profits to set up booths. Non profits will not be charged a fee for a booth. For an application, please email heidi@bigninjafamily.com We are only taking 4 more artists, so get with us soon!
